As funny as it sounds, I dont normally change the way I speak in front of one enthnic group or another. I change the way I speak around one family/friends group or another. I normally practice proper english when I speak, even at home. I do however notice that when I get with my educated friends/family, I tend to use larger, complex words or expanded conversation. When I am with my hood family I am not afraid to use occassional slang, but never enough to come completely out of my comfort zone. Thanks for the ponderance Akeet. :)
