What gospel song are you loving on/working on right now . . . I've just discovered one called "Hosanna," and I can't figure out who the composer is .
. . but I've heard somebody play it and I'm frantically trying to whip it into shape for the choir I'm working with in time for Christmas. The words
cover a lot of the same ground from Isaiah 9:6 (and thus covered by Handel's Messiah), but it has so much bounce that I have to be careful .
. . I'm tempted to throw some "mega-bass" into it. What a Christmas THAT would make!
